EMERGENZA BANDS WIN MUSIKMESSE'S LOVE
A huge success for EmilBulls, Itchy Poopzkid and many others
The Frankfurt Musikmess 2005 has seen Emergenza Festival be one of the focus points of the fair! Our stand was one of the most visited and a strong reference point for musicians. Bigger and more comfortable than ever, it hosted as special guests hundreds of musicians from all of Germany. These bands have either played in the past and/or are taking part this season. They made the fair''s large space resound with some great music. The visitors that crowded the fair over the four days could not help but stop at the Emergenza booth, listen to the music and ask about the enthusiastic musicians!
The musicians on their part, got ready for this important event like true professionals. They even made their demos, press kits and merchandise available to the public. In the end, ten guest bands gave short performances on the stages built in the booth, both fully equipped, one with an electric and the other one with an acoustic backline, all provided by our sponsors.
Here are the names of the bands: One Side Smile (Pforzheim), Stagewar (Frankfurt), Treat (Heidelberg) - Karlsruhe Layabout (Philippsburg), Noch ne Band (Pforzheim), Pink´s not Red (Mainz), Always Damaged (Groß-Umstadt), Auxitt (Nürnberg), - FIN (Giessen), Cowboy 23 (Giessen) and others.
The guests of honor were two German bands: Itchy Poopzkid, a punk band that kicked butt on the Agora stage, and took the breath away from the Music Industry''s hotshots! What a perfect endorsement for Mapex! Nobody beats the drums like Tobias "Saikov" Danne. The band is also endorsement for Ernie Ball (strings) and K&M (stands).
And of course…one of Emergenza''s most brilliant successes, the now famous EmilBulls from Munich, winners in 1997, who offered an unforgettable and surprising acoustic set at our booth. The show captured the whole fair''s attention, and had immediate positive results for the band. They signed an endorsement deal for guitars and basses with Ovation, and have decided to record an acoustic ep, with support from Track1 Records.Besides this, Music Man has offered them an international endorsement deal !
On the MIPA stage, in front of the most important musical journalists in the world, the Spanish duo Hermanas Sister, winners of the International Acoustic Showcase 2004, gave a outstandingly passionate performance.
All in all, the Frankfurt Musikmesse is an essential opportunity for Emergenza to show its successes, in particular the bands: they are our best success, and we are proud of them!
