EMIL BULLS AND VERDENA SIGNED TO TRACK1!

We are very proud to announce that Track1, after agreeing an A&R deal with the Emergenza Festival last November, has just signed an agreement with two of the most interesting European young bands: EmilBulls from Germany and Verdena from Italy. Formed in 1996 as Schoolband, EmilBulls got the third place at the Emergenza European Final in 1997. Since that moment, they have embodied the best German underground hard alternative rock, have released 4 albums, have played more than 350 concerts in Germany, US, Canada, Austria, Italy, France, Switzerland, Benelux, alongside such artists like Audioslave, Placebo, Metallica, Marylin Manson, Deftones, and Linkin' Park. Emil Bulls have signed a record deal with Track1 in a joint venture with another german label due to be announced next week. Track1 will release the new album of the band "The southern comfort" in June 2005, first in Germany then will be supporting the release in the rest of the world. Verdena have signed a worlwide sub-management contract with Track1. Together with their Italian management Lunatik, Track1 will work to break the band in several foreign markets. A release of their latest album "Il suicidio del samurai" is due between summer and autumn of this year in Germany and Switzerland. Started in Bergamo (near Milan) in 1998, their first album, released in 1999, sold 40.000 copies ( afeat for the Italian market) without any airplay. Since then Verdena have played more that 100 gigs every year all over Italy, and in 2001 they played in Turin as support to U2, in their only exclusive show in Italy. Their latest tour was sold out in every city. Verdena are currently working on their new album. Track1 is now looking at the most interesting bands of the Emergenza Festival this season, and is going to support the 2005 compilations as well as the forthcoming tours of the most interesting bands from last year's contest (Fluttr and Ghettobillies from the United States, Mr Brown from Germany - last year's international winner - and Lexxi from Scotland).
