EMERGENZA AT NAMM
The world's biggest music fair
Once again the Emergenza marketing managers will be at NAMM in Los Angeles, the annual fair where the whole music industry meets in order to uncover the best talents and the newest business opportunities. The show takes place in Anheim from 20th to 23rd this month.
One year after the last edition a lot of things have changed and grown up, and Emergenza Festival comes to this important appointment showing figures of which we can really be proud of (and concering only America…): 21 cities (last year there were 8), more than 2000 bands enrolled (last year they were 600), radios and magazines involved everywhere (and very actively!). And the forecast for next year doubles all the figures.
Moreover, the new edition of the BEST tour will cover the US from March to May 2005, with the best European and American bands from last season, and the cooperation with the label TRACK1 is yielding the first results… Considering that all this happens in the 9 European countries where the Festival takes place as well, as a result Emergenza is undoubtedly the largest and most successful worldwide contest for up and coming bands.
Documents and reports are being produced to present Emergenza''s success in the world to the Music Industry''s big shots, both to the ones who already support us and to the ones who would like to. And with these figures, it is easy to understand that the Festival is a big opportunity of visibility and publicity, not only for the bands!
In addition to all this, Emergenza managers will present their latest amazing discovery: HERMANAS SISTERS from Malaga (Spain), one singer and one acoustic guitarist.
Thanks to their victory at the International Acoustic Showcase in Barcelona on December 15th, and with the support of Kaman, Anita Rowe and Carlos Germade will fly to Anheim to perform in the famous live show organised by ACOUSTIC MAGAZINE, the most important American magazine specialised in Acoustic Music, with the best acoustic musicians in the world.
We will keep you posted with all the news from the NAMM in the next issue… stay tuned!
