Emergenza and Voir Communications want to see you at Emergenza's International Final, in Germany! Here's how you can get a shot at this all expense paid trip to Rothenburg in August 2005. This contest is open to Quebec residents only. Please note all entries and articles must be written and submitted in French. Starting January 10th until February 10th log on to the Voir website (www.voir.ca) and join their online community free. Fill out the Emergenza-Voir contest submission form. You will be asked to answer the following questions (in French): 1. What do you know about Emergenza? (125 words) 2. What makes you a good candidate for reviewing the Emergenza shows? (125 words) 3. Provide an example of a music-related piece you''ve written in the last 12 months. (250 words) A jury will select nine entries. Winners will be announced February 17th on the Voir & Emergenza websites. The winners will attend three Emergenza shows during the 9 weeks of the quarterfinal round at Kola Note and will write a comprehensive review of what they''ve seem. All three articles by each author will be published online. The best one will be chosen by a jury and published in print as well. Online readers will vote for the article they believe to be the most deserving. The winner will be chosen by a combination vote from the jury as well as the online community. The grand prize will include: - Flight to and from Germany (1 person) - Four nights at the hostel in Rothenburg (shared room) - A pass to the Taubertal Festival Grounds - Food and open bar backstage - All applicable taxes Approximate total value: $3,300 What''s not included: - Transportation to and from the airport in home city - Travel insurance (cancellation, health etc) - Personal expenses The winner is responsible for providing his/her own travel documents and ensuring that they are all in order.
