Merlin Sydney Alice (born January 3rd) better known by her stage name MERLIN WAVES is a singer-songwriter, pianist and composer and a deep diver indeed. She is a classically, Pop and Jazz trained musician with a mezzo-soprano vocal range.
With the aid of her piano, Taylor guitar and voice she creates a reckless, lustrous sound with a whiff of bubble gum flavor; inspired by artists like Jack White (the White Stripes), Asaf Avidan, Tom Waits, Cat Stevens, Keith Jarrett, Bon Iver, LP and Carole King.
MERLIN WAVES learned to play the piano and guitar and joined singing lessons at the age of 9, and began writing her own music at the age of 12.

Merlin played concerts to perform and support her first album MERMAID SOUL in Los Angeles,- Down Town Hollywood, in Lake Arrowhead (California) and at The Spice Of Life Club (London) and Hamburg/Germany.

Hi folks,
ich wohne seit ein paar Jahren in Hamburg und bin hier als Singer/Songwriterin unterwegs. Ich bin in den letzten Jahren sehr viel durch Amerika gereist und habe letzten Sommer zum ersten Mal in London gespielt um mein Album, meine Musik und mich als Künstlerin zu promoten und so viel wie möglich im Ausland zu spielen und mich mehr und mehr mit anderen Künstlern zu connecten.
Ich performe meine Songs am Grand Piano und an meiner Taylor.
Beim Emergenza Contest würde ich meinen Drummer, meine Background Lady und meine Gitarre mit auf die Bühne nehmen, da ich ungern auf einem Epiano spiele.
Ich freu mich von euch zu hören xxx
