The Broken Stone sound was created in June of 2004. When experiencing this sound, one will journey through a whirlwind of rock influences ranging from 311 and Rage Against the Machine styled grooves to a blend in the vein of Incubus, Metallica, Nickelback, Blink 182 and Staind. Backed by aggressive basslines and hard-edged rock vocals occasionally dashed with hip-hop, Broken Stone has begun to chisel out a signature sound.

Many people are surprised to learn that Broken Stone has been together less than a year. In that short amount of time, they have managed to gain a fairly strong following as well as the support and respect of many local venues.

Drawing on a main fanbase from the Bloomington Indiana area, Broken Stone is looking to soon cover the Midwest and envelop listeners into their world of "rock".
