Stoned Fire - A Hard Rock / alternative Band... deep in the heart of New York, songwriter Gino met with Vocalist Petar to write a song for an independant film. With instant chemestry of the wide range of raw power vocals and heavy riff crushing guitars, the two knew this could go beyond just a score for a film. Fueled by the hunger to break on thru and attack the music scene, they kept the song under the name River and started a band called Stoned Fire. Gino decided to call upon his old buddy Josh on drums to waste no time on new material, and within a month had too many ideas to handle by themselves. They started looking for musicians who would fuel the fire and share their ideas of the MPM lifestyle. Joining them Sean on guitars and Dave to follow on bass only brought even more ideas, and a plan to blend the styles of heavy metal, hard rock and alternative all into one. From influences like The Doors, Tool, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, etc... Stoned Fire brings a heavy and emotional vibe to their songs with catchy melodies for everyone to listen. It's only a matter of time before you hear them and the rest of the New York scene.
