flintlock formed at the end of 2008 when they did thier 1st gig. Ian and Steve j have been writing songs together for the best part of 4 years with another band called Perimmisble Gambit, which Ed joined at the beggining of 08. Everything was good and we where set to do our 1st gig on new years eve but at the last minute we needed a new drummer and bass player (Roy and Dave). Who stepped up to the challenge of doing a gig with only a week to practice. The gig couldn't of gone any better, thanks to thanks to captain kitty ( http://www.captainkitty.com ) and there great promotional team the crowd was huge when we did our set. The response we got when we finished was overwelming. Then we told them how long we had been together they couldn't belive it. So that was it we went straight in to a studio to do a recording of our tunes. .
