Hard-hitting beats, and sultry but funkadelik bottom-end, provides the soulful groove beneath a range of catchy, flourishing melodies. With more bright than dull musical moments (hence inspiring the name 'UltraViolet'), our original tunes are "easy listening" and can be best described as Acoustic Groove.

Originally a female-based band, our male rhythm section offers diversity in the underlying strength of the music, and is also a good contrast to the feminine lyrics. The individual musical interests and experience of each UV member (ranging from Thrash Metal, through to Folk, Pop, Jazz & Dance) means we have been able to take the original material to another level. With so many influences abroad, we are still alternative in that we have toned down the pop-side and added a few more spices to the mix.
