Machinery Hill, named after the infamous grand stand at the Brisbane Exhibition Showgrounds, is a five-piece rock band from Australia. For two years, the band has been performing up and down the East Coast, at locations ranging from The Zoo in Brisbane to venues in Airlie Beach. This last year however, has seen the band working on their debut album, recorded at a number of top level recording studios throughout Australia, including Sydney, Byron Bay and Brisbane, with constant involvement of big name industry producers and consultants. Due out late this year, Machinery Hill's album will show the pure dedication and talent so often seen arising from this music centre of Australia. Their first release, ‘Good Anyway’ July 2009, gives a sneak preview of things to come.
