Formed in the dusty bars of East Anglia, Flooding the Silence have developed a strong and exceptionally well mannered fan base around the east of England. Their debut EP ‘Midnight’, which received local radio play, crow-barred its way in to the top 20 in Jamie Oliver’s unsigned band competition and a string of gigs with Medway heroes the Len Price 3 has seen the lads venture further a field to ply their trade.

Their debut album ‘Chase the Sun’ layers unapologetic lyrics over road hardened and somewhat eccentric instrumentation resulting in some seriously inspired genre cocktails, uplifting anthems and dark, progressive, alt rock about love and prostitute murder. Steve likes peas, Rob H loves bananas, Rob C’s a clam chowder kind of guy while Chris favours the native guava.
