VALL – is a charismatic London based Alternative ROCK/POP/SOUL singer & songwriter who, along with her 5 piece band (also called VALL), is currently promoting her self-penned debut album pre release. In ‘her laid back acoustic zone she steps proudly into the footsteps of velvet toned soul/folksters such as Joan Armatrading & Tracy Chapman while full tilt she exudes the energy and stage presence of a young Tina with a tinge of the White Duke and a hint of Skin – passionate yet edgy, raw yet polished’.

As well as performing at showcase venues and several summer festivals in both the UK and France (including La Fete de la Musique 2009), to date VALL has twice recently supported UK delta blues/rock legends (composer/performers of The Sopranos theme tune) Alabama 3 as well as current UK industry favorite – Honey Ryder (supported Will Young & played alongside The Script, Enya).
Out of 10,000 international entrants, last month VALL was nominated as one of 10 Finalists for the RISING STAR AWARD 2009 in assoc. with BRITISH MUSIC WEEK (one of Europe’s largest music conventions) & the 1st annual DOWNLOAD MUSIC AWARDS 2009.
