MAASSA is a rock band consisting of three friends who met in Maastricht and started playing together in 2014, united by their passion for music. We play rock, blues and punk, we flirt with rockabilly, jazz and funk and we love writing our own music. Surely we admire the work of others and you would hear a few covers in our gigs with the added spin of our raw energy and our fiery delivery on stage. The music we write expresses our sense of freedom, truth, love and empathy. Our goal is to develop as a unique artist act that expresses our essence as people and musicians and that helps other people connect to their essence. We want our music to bear both entertaining and social cause – making people happy, more connected to themselves, more aware of their own truth and more willing to follow their inner calling.
