In the summer of 2000 members of various bands in the Barcelona region met each other and got together to form the band that is currently known as Metempsychosis. Raúl Nieto and Darío Fernández where the first members that started looking for other musicians to complete the band. In September of that same year, Albert Casas becomes a band member and two months later appears lead singer Tony Moreno.
After various tries to complete the band with a fifth member, Patrick Möls, former drummer of the Dutch band MAC-11 comes in to complete the line-up.
As of that moment and as a result of the good atmosphere within the band, Metempsychosis starts working very hard.
Metempsychosis defines it's music, with it's Spanish lyrics, as personal and original where modern metal (bands like Machine Head, The Deftones and Korn) gets mixed up with various styles of music (free style metal).
They hope to be accepted in the national music environment soon to demonstrate the quality of national bands inside Spain as well as abroad.
