Above None. A band of five whose music rocks to the themes of the everyday and the obvious. A group of musicians finding the groove that lurks in our dreams. A sound that echoes of incantations of 60’s folk-rock, tying together the sonic foundry laid down by Neil Young and the latter day saints of the 90’s grunge collective. Based in Ottawa, Above None has played many of the city’s notable venues to much acclaim. Since their formation in the winter of 2002, they’ve worked hard to bring together a solid collection of original music and have since recorded a five song demo which can be heard on their web-site at www.abovenone.com.
