Raid's history isn't very long at this time. The Roskilde band were started by Leif and René in the summer 2001. The winter of 2002 Henrik and Thomas joined Leif and René to form Raid. Both Henrik and Thomas were both former members of another Roskilde band.

From February 2002 to the start of November 2003, the band have composed more than 14 rock songs.
