In 2001 5 high school buddies formed a band called "Tr3ple P". The idea was to form a hard-edged band which combined the melodies of rock, the brutality of metal and the grooves of hip hop in a new and improved way. The band was well aware of the fact that today's metal scene is filled with clichés. It was therefore decided from the beginning that variety was the key, and this has been confirmed to have worked out successfully by critics and audiences.
Playing numerous gigs Tr3ple P quickly became a highly respected metal act in the Danish underground. Because of the massive, positive response and the band's participation in the Emergenza finals they decided to record a full length album with Anders Lundemark despite not having a record contract.
Tr3ple P is currently shopping for a record deal with the unreleased album in question.
