Unlike most bands in the area, Q has a unique sound. Described as "completely new and refreshing," Q was voted as the #1 progressive/experimental band in the 2002 & 2003 Valley Advocate "Grand Band Slam."
Their style is heavy but melodic. Programmed sequences are used to give the already tasteful music a fuller sound. Nothing is written without the ability to recreate it live. Q gives their music 100 percent of their emotion and energy to entertain and captivate their fans.
The main focuses of the band are writing and performance. Each member has a wide variety of influences — industrial, heavy metal, techno, and more — which contribute to the music of Q.
