With 2 degrees from Berklee and a number of awards (Ed- Louis Armstrong Award 1996, Guitar Nine Undiscovered 2003, Chris- Bass player of the Year Selkirk College, 1996, Bob- featured in Drum! and Modern Drummer magazine) Five to the Face proves to be not only well educated, but well decorated. They all chose music education as a day job, each teaching multiple instruments. Each member has no less than 12 years of professional playing experience ranging from original bands, cover bands, nationally touring tribute bands and studio work. They proudly released their first EP “Pain Inside” in October of 2002 and enjoy some airplay on Boston area radio stations. They hope to release a new full length CD by late spring of 2004. This powerful and soulful combination of education, technique, versatility, and experience makes Five to the Face a step above.
