Symphony of Nine combines crunching guitars with incredible melodies along with a distinct sense of drama to create a rock 'n' roll that is hard, deep and altogether original. They became an official band in the Summer of 2003. Prior to then they played only covers in high school assemblies. They eventually (and rather suddenly) played their first gig on August 28th 2003 at the Symposium Cafe in Brampton. "A friend of ours who owned it asked us if we could play for them there," says Scott Brown, lead singer of the group, "and we said, 'Sure! Absolutley!' Of course we had nothing at all, so Colin and I went and wrote 13 songs in two weeks, and then...Symphony of Nine was born."
