Forming nearly three years ago, the band is comprised of five of the most unlikely creators of metal. Ranging in different influences such as Death Metal, Speed & Thrash Metal, Power Metal, Black Metal, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Glam Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, and yes even Pop music. This is the very reason this diverse and eclectic group of musicians can make such richly textured and creative music. Based out of Tampa, Florida, this dynamically charged Metal band has a talent for churning out a steady blend of ferocious and melodic music backed with brutal vocals. The Band definitely has an evolved sound, going beyond just your run of the mill everyday Metal band.

Left in Ashes just finished recording their new three song EP with Musician/Producer Erik Rutan, (Hate Eternal, Alas, Ex-Morbid Angel) of Mana Recording Studio in Tampa, Florida. The new EP contains the latest material from Left in Ashes. Know Your Enemies, My Demons, and Torn Between Two Classes are the new tracks.

Left in Ashes has shared the stage with such acts as Obituary, Hate Eternal, Vital Remains, Testament, Macabre, and Body Count at the recent Sun n Steel Metalfest in St. Pete, Florida. Left in Ashes has also performed alongside Goatwhore (Members of Soilent Green), Unholy Ghost, The Absence, Yeti, Royal Anguish, Vampire Moose, Remembering Never, Sleeping by the Riverside , and Born into Kaos. The band has received some heavy airplay on Tampa 's local Metal show on Cacophony 88.5 WMNF on Sunday nights. Left in Ashes is poised and ready to make their presence known in an otherwise simple and redundant Heavy Metal world.
