Silverspork thrives on creativity. Each of its four members is unique and involved in the creative process that fuels the Silverspork machine. Their creativity is advertised in their studio work and especially during their powerful live performances. These four men from Saginaw, Michigan bring the show to their fans. Jay Randall with Z-93 FM sums it up better then most, “One of the most energetic and more entertaining live shows I have seen in a very, very, long time.”

The live show is so intense that the band beat out 200 others for the right to open for Godsmack. Silverspork performing in front of thousands gave Godsmack a run for their money. With this incredible exposure and of course hard work the band continually develops roots throughout Michigan. Their goal is to put as many people in front of them as possible. Silverspork has developed a solid following in Michigan. However, regional and national notoriety is the bands priority.

The band sets an example for many independent artists. They are professional and hardworking. This shows as they have been tapped to open for over a dozen national acts such as Anthrax, Grade 8 and Seven Mary Three to name a few.

Silverspork formed in 1998. Their influences are obvious and include Faith No More, Helmet, Fugazi and many more. Silverspork is Brian Gretzinger (vocals), Carl Abila (guitars), Mario Salcedo (drums) and Ryan Phillips (bass). Each member of this unit exhibits perfection in their trade. From Salcedo’s intense drums and Phillip’s mesmerizing bass to Gretziner’s presence and Abila’s advanced guitar work. Silverspork is a collaborative effort that is unique.
