Lydia and David got together in early 2004, recorded demo tracks with a guest bassist, and then joined with Lenny mid-year to form the current lineup. Hailing from the metro Philadelphia region, the seasoned musicians are a long-time Philly-area performer and two more recent imports to the region. Their first live performance took place at a private party where the music, guests and champagne joined forces to form a relaxed, vibrant, and convivial atmosphere.

What does "vox aqualis" sound like? Descriptive terms we’ve heard: “mesmerizing” “mellow” “like 60’s French pop-jazz.” We've been compared to Norah Jones a few times. But come out, have a listen, and form your own opinion! :)
