BroadWill Avenue was formed in February of 2004. Craig, Bryan and Andrew, through many nights of drunkin' partying found a common musical interest and connected immediately. Thus, the wheels were set in motion. A drummer and bassist were found shortly after and BroadWill Avenue came to life. After a few months of jamming out tunes the band was ready for their first show. On May 26th, 2004 BroadWill Avenue was unleashed on the 905 music scene in Burlington Ontario. Shortly after this show troubles and musical differences arose between the now ex-drummer and bass player of BWA. After taking a month or so off Bry, Craig and Andrew set out in search of findin new members to fill the void left by the departure of the rhythm section. Through a mutual friend, Jesse "pound" Bye, Ross "the boss" Sumner was recruited to play the skins, and Brett was brought in to play bass shortly there after. The newly formed five piece connected immedietly. The next couple months were spent rewriting and fine tuning the existing songs and composing new songs. Which brings us to the present. Following in the foot steps of hometown heroes Grade, and victory records legends Taking Back Sunday, BroadWill Avenue offer up their own unique style of melodic emotional rock ballads with a hardcore twist. Through their dark and disturbing lyrics and intense stage presence BroadWill Avenue invites all music fans to join them on their dark and twisted journey through musical mayhem.
