HOO-DOO PHAZ began playing clubs and festivals throughout the Detroit area in the spring of 2003. Their musical focus is Funk, Soul, Blues and R&B, performing their own renditions of material by artists such as  B. B. King, Bill Withers, Eric Clapton, Average White Band, LTD, John Lee Hooker, Van Morrison  and many others of the artists they love.
