Soundscape Project was formed in late 2003 with one idea in mind: to create new ideas founded in all genres of music. To call the group a funk band would not give an acurate picture of what they are about. Their improvised live sessions have shown the group's vast ability to communicate on levels that cannot be defined. Original work is often described as fun and exciting to audiences and the passion the group has can be heard in each note. With an atypical line-up of a singing drummer backed by a funky bass sound and wild chord voicings, one can never pin down what exactly Soundscape Project is aside from just fun.
