The band’s main goal is to entertain the public by sharing their own enthusiasm. On stage, the band is clearly having fun, which is shared with the audience. Heads start nodding during the first songs already. By having a diversity of songs the bands keeps attention ‘till the end.
Some facts: During 2000 the first 10 songs are recorded.. In 2001 a place in the finals of “Regionaal kabaal” is achieved. At the end of 2001, a second place at “De Grote prijs van Laarbeek” is won. In 2002 the band works on new songs inbetween the live performances.
In 2003, the second demo sees the light: “Another Day”. The focus was on quality. The largely positive critics indicate that the band has come a long way. The jury of the “Grote Prijs van Nederland” praises the effectiveness and melodies of the Dawn “Powerpop”.
Even some radio stations discover Dawn. Dawn songs are played frequently on “Omroep Brabant”. Even Dutch national radio station 3FM invites the band for a live gig in the studio. A solid version of Another Day shakes the studio….
