Split Second started in 2002 as a coverband. Nowadays they concentrate fully on own material. Some described the musical material as "U2 meets Garage" but the band itselve rather calls it simply "pasionate rock". The magic on stage and the public interaction prooves this is a well-choosen title for this is what the band stands for. Recently composed songs as "A Letter From The Past" and "Eternity" shows the melodic site of the band at its best, filled with catchy and Vedder-like chorusses, walking bass-lines and pumping drums. The darker and more heavier site of the band can be recognized in songs like "Love Is My Only Crime", "Sky" and "Black Angel". But there is also feel-good and alcohol fuelled music like "Wrong is Right" which describes sinful behaviour in a coctail bar. In other words: in a Split Second you feel the passion, magic and energy!
