COS is born with passion for melodic and apocalyptic music. Whose fundaments are based on friendship and a shared musical vision.
COS has got a line up spread out over all of the Netherlands, with individuals from Heerlen, Apeldoorn,, Tilburg and Landgraaf.
There must be something special about the band, being able to get al of them together every week!
In January 2006 the band released her first record, called ‘The Love of my life’. This CD shows not only the repertoire of the band, but also the COS-way of making songs.
2006 is definitely the year of COS. As a kick-off, the band released her cd in the Gigant in Apeldoorn and later on in Music café Smileyz in Brunssum.
Several corners of the country had already seen ‘the preachers of apathy’ in action.
De formula of COS consists of a dynamic en melodic set, an energetic and interactive live-performance and last but not least the gift to create a positive vibe during their shows.
With Circle of Silence on stage, every party is bound to be a success!
A couple of highlights in the recent COS-history:
Winner Exit Live Band contest; earning a spot on Bunkerpop 2006 and 15 hours of time in the studio
Winner BOOCH? Band contest; earning a spot on BOOCH? 2006 Festival
Queensrock 2006, Kerkrade, playing with bands like Supersoma, 10 fold B-low and Hatesphere.
Interview & airplay on Radio Parkstad and Local Underground, Zutphen.
Everything COS does is closely monitored by camera and lot’s of it can be found on our website.
Therefore, this site can provide a clear image of who we are, and what we do.
