When we founded Stone Lucy, our goal was to create a great hard rock band that was willing to take chances, to write and record songs the way rock 'n' roll was meant to be: musically ambitious, adventurous, and potent. Stone Lucy is dedicated to the idea that truly ambitious musicians don't try and rule the world; true musicians create art, they perform, and all they ask from their audience is to participate. And we want you to participate. We want you. We want you to play us in your car as you cruise the road on a Saturday afternoon. We want you to blast our songs before you go to sleep. We want you to think that our songs hold all of the meaning in the whole damn world. We want you to enjoy what we do, come to our shows, and let us entertain you. Now you ask: How is this product going to change my life?, How full of hyperbole are you?, and Why should I care? You are going to care about something. What you care about is just a matter of your options, and we are presenting you with an option to care about a few guys who thought they'd get together and challenge themselves to write compelling songs. No hyperbole in that at all. We aren't claiming to reinvent the wheel, because we are just the next turn on it. Music today wants to promise you something. It will promise you good times, something to cry to, something in which to find meaning. We aren't promising you a thing, we are just providing you the raw materials to build on. You are going to have a life with or without us, you'll change yourself. We just want to be with you though it all.
