Days Ahead (2006) began in late 2003 as a small town accoustic act, bye Devon Manitowabi and Matt Bond as Tyme Well Wasted. It was only a matter of months before Tyme Well Wasted began auditioning drummers, recording and writing newspaper/televised interviews, and performing on television due to good fortune and success in small amounts that just seemed to find them. Late in 2006 Days Ahead met up with Jason Girdwood, former drummer of Lethargy, and found a certain chemistry that only comes along when something is meant to be. Like the perfect song, certain things will piece themselves together without any effort...
Lead singer of Days Ahead has quoted that "The ones who make it are the ones who never outgrow the dream!"
Taking their own outlook on mainstream and alternative rock, the guys from Days Ahead are simply counting down the days to success in whatever form it may come. Afterall, how can you outgrow the one thing in life you are most passionate about....
