Toronto based artist Aaron Griggs is no new comer to the music scene. He has performed at such venues as Buddy Guys Legends, Biscuit and Blues, The Green Parrot, The Yale, and numerous festivals throughout North America, playing his "hard edged" sound.

With his newsest CD entitled, NOTHING COMES FOR FREE, Aaron Griggs & The Velvet Bulldozer recorded a range of blues that showcases their abilities to the fullest. Featuring renditions of blues icons Howlin Wolf, Albert King, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Little Milton well as their original title track which offers an exciting take on an old art form that once again breathes freely.

Aaron has worked with many blues associated arists such as Wild Child Butler, E.C. Scott, Rick (HOCK) Walsh and has been a member of the Sidemen for 2 years with roots music star Paul Reddick.

One only has to listen to his live performances or various recordings of Aaron Griggs & The Velvet Bulldozer to realize that they are on the leading edge of of Canadian Blues Performers.
