Mit Emergenza ziehen Jack Rabbit Slimz aus dem Murgtal heraus in die weite Welt. Manche nennen es Musik, aber die meisten nennen es Krach, was die vier dabei verbrechen. Doch eins ist klar, wenn Marius’ militant poetry und Alex’ weinende Solos mit der groovigen rhythm-section verschmelzen: „Es wird immer fett auf die Sch***se gehaun.“
Nicht umsonst wurde Jack Rabbit Slimz 2006 mit dem Hung Like a Horse Award fuer die bestbestueckteste Band Europas ausgezeichnet.

”First Emergenza, and then – the world!” not more and not less do Jack Rabbit Slimz expect from their Karlsruhe show. With Marius’ militant poetry, Alex’ crying guitar, the groovy & good-looking rhythm section, and a small portion of self-irony the four friends from Gaggenau, Germany are determined to re-establish the true virtues of rock, criticize everything that’s going wrong in this world and ultimately change it to the better! And thereby, as Marius likes to say: “wird immer fett auf die Scheisse gehaun!” which basicly means that JRS rock louder and harder than anyone else playing alternative Rock!
After all, Jack Rabbit Slimz didn’t get the Hung Like A Horse Award for the most gifted European band 2006 for nothing.
