Prescription For Protest have been together since September 2005 and is local to the North Bay region. The band consists of three members: Jeff (drums; age 19), Jay (guitars, vocals; age 20), and Justin (bass, vocals, keyboards; age 19), who have been playing together under various previous band names with different band members that have come and gone. While currently recording their first album, Prescription For Protest have been very active playing shows with professional gear and staging, and have even landed a show with Warner Bros Records own The Salads. The band writes and performs their own original material and have already written their entire first album, to be titled Remembering August. The trio’s music bears a very dynamic and experimental sound, drawing influence from almost any genre of music to create a style all their own. They live to play live, and they strive for a big show on stage.
