Da Prospex are currently a 3-piece band (drums, guitar, bass) that combines rock and hip hop like no other. Rocky is the drummer/rapper/singer/pianist of the group, Vadim is the lead guitarist/backup vocalist, and our newest member Hector is the bassist. Rocky and Vadim have been writing music together for about 2 years now. Our closest shot at fame was this past year (2006/2007), when we competed in the Emergenza Battle of The Bands Competition. We won two rounds at The Hook in Red Hook, Brooklyn, before being eliminated in the Semi-Final thanks to politics. But, it is what it is. And as all of our true loyal fans know, no matter how many people came and went in this group, the dedication of Rocky (who started the group) and Vadim have kept the group going. So we ask for your support in helping us to live our dream! We will update you on any shows coming up! Please come out and support us, the fans are what counts!
