S'essayant dans un style gothiquo-lyrico-progressif, le groupe sort en 2004 sa démo "Tears Are Dividing" et durant 2 ans parcours la scène locale avec des groupes tels que Gnô, Mysanthrope, Eternal Flight, Black Rain,...
L'orientation musicale évoluant, Crysalid se met en quête d'un chanteur, et c'est en Mars 2007 que Matthias rejoint le groupe lui apportant ainsi l'énergie et l'identité qu'ils recherchaient depuis longtemps.
Crysalid is a progressive metal band created in 2003 by 4 passionned guys of all kind of music and particularly actual metal.
Trying themselves in a gothico-lyrico-progressive metal, The band released a demo in 2004 "Tears Are Dividing" and did many gigs durring 2 years with bands like Gnô, Mysanthrope, Eternal Flight, Black Rain...
But the evolution of the music, pushed Crysalid to begun the quest of a singer, and in March 2007 Matthias reached the Band, bringing to them the energie and the identity they were searching for a long time.
