Felix and I have known each other since 2006 from another band where we both left after feeling that the kind of music we were playing then wasn't the right thing for us. We founded a two man band and soon we found a bassist for our first gig. As he was only needed for one performance he left the band after the gig but a short while later I asked Daniel if he would like to learn to play the bass and join the band. He agreed and so it came that we were complete again.

After having changed our name several times we decided us for Degeulasse. Degeulasse was the name of a song I once wrote for a good friend of mine who also gave me the idea for the title. It means something like lousy, grotty, disgusting, shitty, rotten, etc. and can be applied to almost everything. Its origins are french and it's actually spellt dégeulasse.
We love what we do and we do it with all our heart and if you think our music is bad just remember: "dégeulasse" .
