In a culture where bands are routinely categorized and typecast, three collaborators have emerged to form TELEVANDALS, a band defined by its refusal to be labeled by the concept of genre.

Coming from across the nation to meet in Boston, J, Nico, and Ride-Out bring diverse musical perspectives that have coalesced to create a dynamic, revolutionary sound without stylistic restraints.

Televandals ambitiously blend elements of punk, IDM, Brit-rock, trip-hop, ambient electronica and other avant-garde influences to produce their energetic style of rocktronica. Their songs are accented in the studio and on stage by edgy guitar riffs, textured synths, aggressive and whispered vocals, turntables, programmed & live drums and experimental ambient effects.

Televandals not only provide a musical insurgency, but also a social one. The band incorporates politically charged lyrics and themes that confront the inequalities of society - songs that make you think and urge you to think for yourself.

This is a band that will not be stereotyped and will not be silenced. This is music for the apocalypse, or to prevent it. They are Televandals.
