Marquis Melody and his Friendz band have been performing his recently re-released his debut album project titled "Straight From The Heart" Summer 2007. 20 tracks of the finest in modern roots and culture recorded at Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica. The album is currently selling worldwide via online websites and reggae music distributor. Debut Music Video and 7" Vinyl for song "Sunshine" were for released Summer 2006. "Sunshine" has attained a host of accomplishments including successful entry into early round voting for nominations in multiple field/categories of the 49th Grammy Awards, advancement through the judging rounds of the 2006 International Songwriting Competition also posts on multiple music chart rankings.
