SUOSITUIMMAT TARINAT
2007 was a rough year: War raged, oil prices skyrocketed, Vonnegut died. But if you caught The Business End within their ferocious debut into the San Francisco music scene, at least you got a night off from all the bullcrap. A punk-rock trio that prides itself on fast, well-crafted songs about heartbreak and venereal disease, rock gods and cartoons, asshole politicians and Harrison Ford, they stand by a motto of being "Loud, not sloppy, and Aggressive, not angry." Much more than three-chord songs, The Business End pulls from its members' varied musical influences and histories to form what becomes a good time had by all. And that is exactly what music should be. All of the 20+ clubs they have played so far have asked them to come back. Positive feedback from audiences is overwhelming. "Good tunes" and "they look like they're having a lot of fun up there" are comments frequently heard after a Business End set. The Business End finished their year by recording at The Pus Cavern with Joe Johnston (Cake, Deftones, Hoobastank, Taking Back Sunday, etc...), and they plan to dominate the world throughout 2008. Check em' out on myspace.com/noahsaysno and soon in a town near you. You'd best join the party or you might stay mired in the bullcrap.
