We began a caravan type presentation, of our acoustic set, on the streets of San Francisco. It began because We thought if we are The Gitanos, Spanish for “The Gypsies”, we should actually try to incorporate that into our show. The Gitanos went from a Rock en Español band selling a couple of CD’s at each club show, to selling boxes at a time. In Santa Cruz we once sold 343 CD’s during one set. We have found a way of delivering excitement and connection to the public from San Francisco to San Diego. We want to develop this blessing and further our strategy of creating a mobile caravan of entertainment. We are musical gypsies and we really love what we do. We can write about it all we want but you can’t imagine what are shows bring to the street until you see it yourself. When we tell people it’s kind of like they don’t believe us, and when they see it, it blows them away. Our producer is Michael Klooster, keyboardist from Smash Mouth. Members from the band (Smash Mouth) came to see our street set in Santa Cruz and they were telling us they were envious.
