DEVIANT MESSIAH is a young band of modern Death/Black/Thrash Metal from LeMans, France. Born in September 2007 from the ashes of GothMetal IN MEMORIAN with Benj Tonio & Jr, they wanted to make more harsh and aggressive music, taking inspiration from all extreme metal subgenres, like Thrash/Black/Death/etc. Benj called up his good old friend Déhà, from Belgium, to be a full time singer and he managed then to get Nico (from Dioxine/Le Mans) on the bass.
Then, the line up was formed and keeped as this : Benj (Compo/Guitars), Déhà (Compo/Vocals), Tonio (Guitars), Jr (Drums) & Nico (Bass). Déhà also recorded/mixed/mastered the debut demo "2008 Demo", which contains 4 tracks and an outro. It is either selled for the price you want to put in, or given for free as it is mainly for promotional use.
Now, the band's looking for gigs to do in France and/or Belgium. News songs are written and ready to rock out on stage and the band can't wait for it!
In late November 2008, Jr & Tonio leave the band, with no harshness or else, because DM wasn't their thing anymore. But the band ain't stoppin' at all! We decided to continue with one guitarist only and Mehdi from Dioxine came in the band as drummer.

Deviant Messiah plays extreme music. There are no main goals about money or other (even if it's still interesting, you got the point). The main influences of DM come from Black and Death Metal of any sub-styles, adding a more modern touch, Thrash metal violence and aggressive sounding. A music from metalheads for metalheads. Lyrically, the main themes mixes antireligious thoughts, gore and humor/sick variations. A mix of Black & Death with a modern touch, we said.
