Synaptic Collapse sono un gruppo prog-metal strumentale di Aosta. Nascono a metà del 2008 da un'idea di Lorenzo Barbera (Batteria) e Andrea Minieri (Basso). Con l'arrivo dei due chitarristi Matt Marguerettaz e Andrea Sinisi, dopo un periodo iniziale in cui si dedicano a cover (Blotted Science), influenzati principalmente da Blotted Science, Spastic Ink e Meshuggah, dal 2009 i Synaptic Collapse iniziano a comporre pezzi originali e ad esibirsi dal vivo. Nel 2011 registrano il loro primo EP: "Quantum Miltiverse" composto da cinque brani.

Synaptic Collapse is an istrumental progressive metal band from Aosta (Italy). The project born in the mid of the 2008 with Lorenzo Barbera (drum) and Andrea Minieri (bass). Will soon be added to the band Andea Sinisi (guitar) and Matteo Marguerettaz (guitar). During the first months the band worked on some Blotted Science’s cover and maked some concerts but soon it start to compose original songs inspired by Blotted Science, Spastic Ink, Ron Jarzombek and Meshuggah. In the 2011 the band record its first EP “Quantum Multiverse” composed by five original songs at Dissonant Studio.
