    Formed in the middle of 2009 rock band Maker are hard at work demoing material for their debut EP. Maker will be entering the studio soon and are finalising the Producer very shortly.
    Each of the streamlined tracks are characterised by Shaun Marshall’s robust, soulful vocal delivery that brings to mind Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) but with added warmth. Levi on Guitar is adding his own unique style of delivering cascading rhythms and kaleidoscopes of colour. This amazing collective is held together by Stuart adding shades of highs and lows with his accents and beats.
    If you are looking for a an antidote for fey, art school ‘cleverness’ pedaled by so many indie and rock bands, then Maker may be the missing ingredient.
    Whether Maker are a rock band with hooks or a pop band with dirt is anybody’s guess, but in today’s irony obsessed, post Britpop climate, Maker are unafraid to be earthy and smart enough to let a melody do the talking.
