    Principia formed in 1999. Principia means a basic principle in Latin. It started as Warren Kushner (Guitar/Vocals) and David Balcher (Drums). Kushner has been playing guitar since 1998. He was first inspired by Jimi Hendrixs guitar style and other classic rock styles, but over the past years he has becomemore intertested in metal, classical, progressive rock and jazz guitar styles. Balcher has been playing drums since 1996. His four biggest drumming infuences are Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Jason Rollo (Symphony X), Neil Peart (Rush), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Balcher has designs all of Principias Logos and CD covers. Peter Wible (Bass/Vocals) joined Principia in 2002. His influences range from Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses) to Geddy Lee (Rush) and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers).

    David started High Amplitude Studios, where Intense Satisfaction was recorded and where they are curently working on their first album.
