À LA UNE
Federico, Albert and Guillermo started playing together in a different band while attending high school, where they befriended Adrian and shared music interests. Later on, Adrien spent a few years in England where he got experienced as a jazz singer performing at theatres and pubs. When he came back to Barcelona, they decided to join up in order to form Shanendogs, a new project based in classic rock and indie music, with some jazz reminiscences as well.
The band has made a name for themselves in Barcelona's music scene by playing at well-known clubs such as Razzmatazz, Monasterio, Depósito Legal or La Capsa. They've gotten into two band contest finals and played in local festivals and big events like Barcelona Marathon as well.
After two years of nonstop live concerts, the band has taken a break to record their debut EP, "Shall We?", a live studio recording that epitomizes what Shanendogs are at this point: a handshake between the classic and the modern eras of rock, from The Beatles and The Velvet Underground to The Strokes and Kasabian.
