    À LA UNE
No Nothing Party is a 5 piece punk band from Fernley, Nevada. They started the group four years ago; they used to be called The Cahoonies, and were kinda crappy. They played shows cause a cool band called Stale Ale let them open for them all the time, and everyone called them The Cahonies. Then one day they decided to change their name cause they were tired of everyone calling them Cahonies (which are testicles in case you don't know). Brodie asked Paddy from Stale Ale what they should call themselves and he said "The Know Nothing Party." (The Know Nothing Party was a psycho political party from a million years ago that were major a-holes.....as opposed to todays political parties.) Anyway, Paddy said "The Know Nothing Party would be cool but spell it like NO Nothing Party," So they did. Then one day their bass player quit, citing, "you guys are jerks." He had a good point. Then they said crap who can play bass for us? Then they called Jose, the guitar player from Stale Ale. He said, "the bass is stupid. It only has four big fat strings, and its spelled the same as a type of fish." Jose was eventually able to see past all this and joined the band. NNP has stuck with the lineup ever since.

NNP has toured the U.S. once and have shared stages with great bands like GBH, Goldblade, The Dead Pets, Lagwagon, Bullets to Broadway, TSOL, The Swinging Utters, Unwritten Law, The Lawrence Arms, and A Wilhelm Screen among many others.

The band has released one full length album thus far. The Who is The Criminal LP is available at www.nonothingparty.com, and at tower records. We will begin recording new material at the pus cavern soon.
No Nothing Party has just relocated to Petaluma, CA and has been working on booking shows in the surrounding areas.
