“[The band] gives the impression of being raised on both hard rock and blues”
    - Sweden Rock magazine while reviewing “This Is Madness"

Started out in Karlshamn, Sweden in 2015 by three young fellows hungry for rock 'n' roll. Typewrites has since been spreading the word about justice and solidarity. The young blues-rockers is always up to something new, as they try to leave musical boundaries behind when entering the rehearsal. As of this you'll never have to fear utter boredom when listening to Typewrites.

In 2016 the band released their self-titled debut-ep. Since then the band has played at countless venues, mostly in southern sweden, but also in more northbound parts of the country, like the great cider-manufacturing town of Kopparberg. During this time they also released the critically acclaimed album; This Is Madness and a second EP; Statements.

Typewrites may not have conquered the world yet, but beware in the future they will probably be a force to be reckoned with. For more info and booking, don’t be afraid to reach out to us! We're on most social medias. (Except for Twitter)
