    Ephyra was formed in 2002 with the purpose of creating innovative music. Since Chicago has a history of being the center of innovative Ukrainian music in the Diaspora, they decided to continue this tradition. Ephyra has performed has performed and many venues and fests in Canada and the US and is growing in popularity in Eastern Europe.

    Ephyra's sound is one that consists of modern, progressive rock with a flavor of traditional Ukrainian influence.
