    Algren is a fresh rock band from Chicago that has burst onto the local music scene with their unique blend of introspective lyrics, searing guitar riffs, grooving rhythms and dynamic songwriting. All three members have had success previously in the Chicago market with the bands Amici, Paltro, and This Weekend. Although just formed in August 2006, Algren is moving quickly through the local music scene.
